K.A. Lovell, the creator and owner of Crash Maps,
has a background of almost twenty-five years in the
legal industry as a law library consultant and book appraiser as well as a legal assistant. Most recently
that experience has been in the risk management department of a transportation services company
handling accident cases from beginning to end
including settlement negotiations with insurance companies and individuals involved in the accidents
and preparing subrogation demands to recover losses.
In addition to her background in the legal field,
Ms. Lovell has experience teaching classes in
both PC’s and Macintosh computers at Pepperdine University’s adult school program and ran the strategy simulations for the graduate Business Management program.
Ms. Lovell’s computer
background led to a position as a Pledge Coordinator for a Los
Angeles based marketing company which specialized in fundraising for
Public Television. Ms. Lovell’s job was to train and manage the
inbound call center staff as well as the computer input of the pledges made
to five PBS stations simultaneously along with the Children’s Miracle
Network Telethon. Since this was done amidst live television, the
challenges were enormous.
All of this experience has prepared
Ms. Lovell to
develop Crash Maps to help individuals and small
businesses prepare for and go through the process
of auto accidents and help them to recover their
losses when possible.
